Construction Wraps On 53-Story, 600-Unit Mixed-Use Building At 551 Tenth Avenue, Midtown West

Construction appears to be nearly complete now that façade installation has finished on the 53-story, 600-unit mixed-use building under development at 551 Tenth Avenue, located between West 40th and 41st streets in Midtown West. The latest photo was taken by NY Constuction Photography. The most recent building permits have the tower, dubbed 555TEN, measuring 712,416 square feet and standing 610 feet in height.

165-Unit Mixed-Use Project To Have Larger Grocery Store, Deeper Affordability, 120 Fifth Avenue, Park Slope

After months of negotiations with the community, developer Avery Hall Investments has agreed to amendments to its two-building, mixed-use development planned at 120 Fifth Avenue, located on the corner of Baltic Street in Park Slope. When the plans were initially presented in February, YIMBY reported that the 196,000-square-foot project would include 165 residential units and 52,000 square feet of retail. Twenty-five percent, or 41 units, would rent at below-market rates through a lottery and 7,500 square feet of the retail space would be designated for a grocery store.

Foundation Work Underway For Provost Square’s 28-Story, 505-Unit Mixed-Use Tower, Jersey City

Foundation work is now underway on phase two of Provost Square, a two-towered mixed-use development half-way complete in downtown Jersey City. The first phase of the project, The Morgan at Provost Square, at 160 Morgan Street, opened for occupancy in late 2015. It rises 38 stories and contains 420 residential units, as well as 13,020 square feet of retail. The second phase will consist of a 28-story tower with 505 residential units and retail space. 42-Story, 429-Unit Mixed-Use Building Rises To Seventh Floor At 212 East 44th Street, Midtown East

Construction is now seven stories above street level on the 42-story, 429-unit mixed-use building under development at 212 East 44th Street (a.k.a. 222 East 44th Street), in Midtown East. The structure can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums by Tectonic. The latest building permits indicate the project will measure 361,354 square feet and rise 556 feet above street level.
