Construction is complete at Hero LIC, a 22-story condominium building at 24-16 Queens Plaza South in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Woods Bagot Architects and developed by Silverback Development, the 284-foot-tall tower features a striking Art-Moderne design and contains a mix of studios, one-, and two-bedroom layouts, many of which offer private balconies. The Serhant Team at Nest Seekers International is handling the sales and marketing for the 109 units.

Excavation is underway at 359 Second Avenue in Gramercy, site of a 13-story mixed-use residential building from Issac & Stern Architects and Silverback Development. Located on the corner of East 21st Street and Second Avenue, the structure will stand 145 feet tall and yield 97,193 square feet.

Located on the corner of East 21st Street and Second Avenue, the lot is about five blocks from the 23rd Street subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Silverback Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The Art Moderne-inspired facade of 24-16 Queens Plaza South is starting to show progress. The tower is already topped out at 23 stories, and stands next to the elevated 7 train in Long Island City. Silverback Development is the developer of the residential project. The building was previously purchased from Greystone Development at a cost of $80 million. The acquisition calls for a conversion from rentals to condominiums.

In a surprise announcement, Silverback Development has acquired development rights for a new, 23-story residential project that has already topped-out in Long Island City, Queens. Located at 24-16 Queens Plaza South, the property was previously owned by Greystone Development, who sold the building for approximately $80 million.

Today YIMBY has the first rendering for a new residential development coming to 212 Wadsworth Avenue, in Upper Manhattan. The development is rising on the site of the demolished Wadsworth Avenue Baptist Church, which was purchased in 2015 for $8 million. Silverback Development has partnered with Caerus Group on the $47 million project.
