The Domain Companies has shared a collection of interior renderings for Estela, a two-building rental property at 414 and 445 Gerard Avenue in the Mott Haven section of The Bronx. Designed by S9 Architecture, the development contains a mix of 380 market-rate apartments, 164 affordable housing units, and around 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The property is located near the Harlem River between East 144th and 146th Streets.

New York City Football Club Reveals Renderings of 25,000-Seat Willets Point Soccer Stadium in Corona, Queens

In a meeting with Willets Point Queens Community Board 7, the New York City Football Club presented its plans to construct a 25,000-seat soccer stadium near Citi Field in Corona, Queens. Known as the Willets Point Revitalization Plan, the scope of work also includes a 100-percent affordable housing project with more than 2,500 units, a 650-seat school, a 250-key hotel, retail and dining locations, and more than 40,000 square feet of public open space.

Exterior work is progressing on 1607 Surf Avenue, a ten-story, 100-percent affordable housing building in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Designed by S9 Architecture and Engineering and developed by BFC Partners, the 104-foot-tall structure will span 360,912 square feet and yield 376 rental units spread across 282,095 square feet, as well as 11,000 square feet of commercial space, 9,000 square feet of community space, a cellar level, and a 2,500-square-foot primary care facility run by New York City Health + Hospitals. Coney Island Associates Phase 2 is the general contractor for the $189 million project, which is bound by Surf Avenue to the south, West 16th Street to the east, and West 17th Street to the West.

Excavation is underway at 2-33 50th Avenue, the site of a 12-story residential building in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed by The Domain Companies with The Vorea Group as a minority partner, the 125-foot-tall structure will yield 500 units spread across 414,946 square feet, as well as 28,000 square feet of commercial space and 503 square feet for a community facility. Congress Builders is the general contractor for the property, which is bound by 49th Avenue to the north, 50th Avenue to the south, and 5th Street to the east.
