Permits have been filed for a four-story hotel at 1616 Summerfield Street in Ridgewood, Queens. The site is four blocks away from the Halsey Street subway station in Bushwick, serviced by the L train. The Loketch Group is behind the applications.
Permits have been filed for a single-story gymnasium at P.S. 81 Jean Paul Richter, at 1716 Bleecker Street, in Ridgewood, Queens. The school sits right on the border of Brooklyn, overlooking the neighborhood of Bushwick, and is a third of a mile from the Seneca Avenue subway station, serviced by the M train.
Applications for a new development at 62-41 Forest Avenue in Queens’ Ridgewood neighborhood were first filed all the way back in 2011. Since then, things have progressed substantially, and permits for the site’s sidewalk shed were filed in March of this year. Now, YIMBY has the reveal for the project.
Isaac Chetrit’s AB & Sons is preparing to formally propose rezoning the property at 56-10 Decatur Street, in Ridgewood, from its current manufacturing zoning (M1-4D) to a residential zone that allows for apartments. The developer plans to file applications with the Department of City Planning in the next few months, The Real Deal reported.
Long Island-based Epoch Property LLC has filed applications for a five-story, 15-unit residential building at 455 Onderdonk Avenue, in Ridgewood. The project will measure 16,381 square feet and its residential units should average 671 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. It will also include a nine-car garage on the ground floor, plus additional amenities. Chang Hwa Tan’s Flushing-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 50-foot-wide, 5,183-square-foot assemblage consists of a two-story mixed-use building and a single-story warehouse. Demolition permits have not been filed.
