Installation of the glass curtain wall is progressing on Zero Irving, a 21-story mixed-use building at 124 East 14th Street in Union Square. Designed by Davis Brody Bond and developed by RAL Development, the building will yield 240,000 square feet of affordable and market-rate office space for technology firms and amenities for occupants. Financial partners Junius Real Estate Partners and Suffolk Construction are also helping to develop the property, which is located along East 14th Street between Broadway to the west and Third Avenue to the east.

Zero Irving Tops Out at 124 East 14th Street in Union Square

RAL Development recently celebrated the topping out of Zero Irving in Union Square, Manhattan. Located at 124 East 14th Street, the 21-story building will yield a mix of affordable and market-rate office space for technology firms and will provide on-site amenities, dining facilities, and the Digital Skills Training Center, which is envisioned as a pathway to good-paying jobs for the next generation of technology professionals.

The reinforced concrete foundations for Davis Brody Bond‘s 21-story tech hub at 124 East 14th Street is taking shape and climbing toward street level. Located just east of Union Square, the development is officially known as the Union Square Tech Training Center. The 254,000-square-foot project will include a mix of affordable and market-rate office space for tech companies, retail, and dining facilities managed by Urbanspace. This week, RAL Development unveiled fresh renderings of a new tech-inspired, mixed-use building at 124 East 14th Street near Union Square. The 21-story building will debut as Zero Irving and will eventually comprise a mix of commercial office space, educational facilities, and fast-casual dining.

City agencies have kicked off construction on a 21-story “tech hub” at 124 East 14th Street in Manhattan, just east of Union Square. Known officially as the Union Square Tech Training Center, the project is poised to accelerate the diversification of New York City’s technology sector through the provision of education facilities, vocational training, and on-site resources for local start-ups.

New Close-Up Revealed For 28-Story “Quay Tower” Coming to Brooklyn Bridge Park

A new close-up rendering has been revealed of the Brooklyn Bridge Park condominium project, now officially known as Quay Tower. The 28-story building will be located at the southern end of Pier 6, in Brooklyn Bridge Park, along the East River. The project, designed by ODA Architecture’s Eran Chen, will offer residents permanently unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline, New York Harbor, East River, as well as the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.

High-Tech Office Building Planned at 124 East 14th Street, Union Square

The New York City Economic Development Corporation has selected RAL Development Services to develop a high-tech office building at 124 East 14th Street, near Union Square. Civic Hall, an organization that describes itself as a “collaborative innovation center,” will anchor the new building, Politico reported. It’s unclear whether the project will include other uses. The 15,450-square-foot site, occupied by a vacant, two-story commercial building, can accommodate up to 92,700 square feet of commercial space. An additional 46,350 square feet of space could be built as residential or community facility space. Demolition permits have not been filed.
