An Astoria-based property owner has filed applications for a three-story, eight-unit residential building at 25-82 43rd Street, on the eastern end of Astoria. The project will measure 8,160 square feet and its residential units should average 765 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. Amenities will include eight off-street parking spaces and laundry facilities. Anthony Cucich’s Astoria-based firm is the applicant of record. The 50-foot-wide, 5,115-square-foot property is occupied by a three-story townhouse. Demolition permits have not been filed. The site is 11 blocks from the 30th Avenue stop on the N and Q train.

Jamaica-based City Builders Development Corp. has filed applications for two three-story, two-unit residential buildings at 104-42 164th Street and 104-50 164th Street, located just south of downtown Jamaica. The townhouses will measure 3,600 square feet each and, across both structures, the residential units should average a family-sized 1,350 square feet apiece. Olabanji B. Awosika’s Jamaica-based architecture firm is the architect of record. Both 20-foot-wide, 2,000-square-foot lots, which are separated by three other lots, are currently vacant. The Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer stop on the E and J trains is six blocks away.

Last-minute design changes can be revealed for the seven-story, 28-unit residential project currently receiving finishing touches at 11-07 Welling Court, in western Astoria near the East River. Ten artists were also commissioned by the developer to craft works throughout the building, DNAinfo reported. The latest building permits indicate the project encompasses 27,144 square feet and rises 68 feet to its roof.

A Richmond Hill-based corporation has filed applications for two three-story, tw0-family houses at 95-11 and 95-13 158th Avenue, in Howard Beach. The buildings will each measure 2,810 square feet and, across both, their residential units should average 750 square feet apiece. The apartments are likely geared towards families. John D. Calcagnile’s Howard Beach-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 60-foot-wide, 6,000-square-foot site is occupied by a dilapidated single-story house until that structure was demolished earlier this year.

Two Three-Story, Two-Unit Mixed-Use Buildings Planned At 18-35 College Point Boulevard, College Point

An anonymous Elmhurst firm has filed applications for two three-story, two-unit mixed-use buildings at 18-35 – 18-39 College Point Boulevard, located along the main commercial corridor in College Point. The buildings will measure 6,502 square feet and 5,089 square feet, respectively. Between the two, there will be a total 3,066 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The full-floor residential units on the second and third floors should average 1,375 square feet apiece, which suggests condominiums are likely in the works.
