37 Sixth Avenue’s Superstructure Begins Ascent In Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

YIMBY stopped by 37 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn to see how work is progressing on the 26-story rental building. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by the Brodsky Organization, the 343,788-square-foot, 323-unit structure is part of the Pacific Park mega-project. The site, which is alternately addressed 495 Dean Street and 664 Pacific Street, is located between Dean Street and Pacific Street, and directly across from Barclays Center.

New Renderings Unveiled for TFC’s 615 and 595 Dean Street in Brooklyn’s Pacific Park

Yesterday TF Cornerstone revealed new renderings for 615 and 595 Dean Street, images depicting how 800 residential units, 72,600 square feet of public open space, and ground-floor retail will come together as part of the Pacific Park complex in Prospect Heights. Designed by Handel Architects, 615 and 595 Dean Street will also include 455 underground parking spaces and a Chelsea Piers Field House, the first in Brooklyn.

Permits Filed for 29-Story Building at 595 Dean Street in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed for a 29-story mixed-use building at 595 Dean Street in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Carlton Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue, the lot is two blocks east of the Atlantic Avenue-Barclay Center subway station, serviced by the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. TF Cornerstone is listed as the owner behind the applications after purchasing the adjacent 595 and 615 Dean Street sites, part of the Pacific Park complex, for $143 million at the beginning of the year. TF Cornerstone is leasing the land from the Empire State Development Corporation, once the construction is complete, the deal will convert to ownership.

Located between Underhill Avenue and Washington Avenue, the lot is five blocks north of the Eastern Parkway Brooklyn Museum subway station, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains. Arik Bar-Chaim is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Three piling machines and two excavators have been set up at 37 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The upcoming 343,788-square-foot, mixed-use building will rise 26 stories and bring 323 rental units to the neighborhood. The property sits at the corner of Dean Street and Sixth Avenue and is directly to the east of Barclays Center. Marvel Architects is the designer and the Brodsky Organization is the developer. An updated rendering was also posted on the construction fence. The project is alternately addressed 495 Dean Street and 664 Pacific Street.

DXA Studio Completes 280 St. Marks Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

Located between Vanderbilt Avenue and Underhill Avenue, 280 St. Marks Avenue is a newly finished residential project in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. This 80,000 square foot condominium project is surrounded by brownstones and brick townhouses and incorporates the architecture of the neighborhood into the faceted exterior facade. It is designed by DXA studio and was developed by DNA Development. There are 31 units in total.

Pacific Park’s Newest 750-Unit Tower Revealed at 18 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Park, Brooklyn

Details have been revealed for an enormous new 750-unit residential tower at 18 6th Avenue, in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The site is right beside the Barclays Center and is part of Pacific Park, formerly known as Atlantic Yards, a multi-billion dollar 22-acre mega-project that has already seen the completion of four of fifteen eventual buildings. TF Cornerstone and The Brodsky Organization have also now joined Greenland Forest City Partners to finish the project, acquiring land where three of the prospective future skyscrapers will imminently rise.

Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 484 Sterling Place in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The site is four blocks away from the Brooklyn Museum on Prospect Park. Next to the museum are subway stations for the 2, 3, 4, 5, and S trains. William Caleo of Brooklyn Home Company is listed as behind the applications.

Redesign Revealed for 731-733 Bergen Street, Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

It was nearly two and a half years ago that YIMBY last reported on permits and a rendering for 731 and 733 Bergen Street, in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Today, we have the first rendering of the project’s redesign, by Bizdesigns LLC. The new structure looks lighter, with tan panels on the two protruding sections and base, rather than dark brick, as well as paneled screens on the lower floors. The windows were also subject to changes, and the nine balconies will be colored black, instead of red.
