JLL Capital Markets recently announced the successful acquisition of a $36.7 million loan to facilitate the construction of a new, mixed-use condominium building in Manhattan. Located on the border of Flatiron and Chelsea, the building’s official address is 128-130 West 23rd Street, and the project is already under construction.
A new residential building is coming to 128 West 23rd Street in Chelsea, between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenues, and today YIMBY has the first look at renderings and an update on progress. When complete, there will be 40,230 square feet of residential space split amongst 33 units averaging about 1,200 square feet apiece. 3,598 square feet of retail space will be located on the ground floor. Valyrian Capital and Pan Brothers are the developers of the site while Kutnicki Bernstein Architects is the architect of record.

Condo developers have radically reshaped 23rd Street in Chelsea over the last couple years. The newest arrival will be a 15-story project at 128 West 23rd Street, next to Anbau’s Citizen condos between Sixth and Seventh avenues.
