The site is five blocks away from the 167th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Three blocks further is a station serviced by D trains. An anonymous LLC is listed as responsible for the development.
An enormous new healthcare center has opened its doors on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The 740,000 square foot structure is located between 68th and 69th Street, on York Avenue, and is the latest addition to the New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center campus. Three different design firms, HOK, Ballinger, and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners worked in collaboration for the project.

The non-profit New York City Economic Development Corporation is listed as behind the applications.
Speculation has been raised around what Avery Hall Investments would do after purchasing a site from Brooklyn Law School for $76.5 million back in 2016, and acquiring 50,000 square feet of air rights from two nearby properties for another $16 million. Now, permits have been filed for a 21-story mixed use building at 7 Boerum Place, in Downtown Brooklyn. The high-rise will rise on the corner of Fulton Mall, a pedestrian area between Flatbush Avenue and Adams Street that houses over 200 stores. Avery Hall is partnering with Allegra Holding and Aria Development Group.
