Works Stalls At 444 Graham Avenue, Site of Seven-Story, 56-Unit Building, Williamsburg

Work appears to be stalled at 444 Graham Avenue, in northern Williamsburg, where Domenico Marino plans to build a seven-story, 56-unit mixed-use building measuring 41,710 square feet. Retail space is expected to span 4,700 square feet on the ground floor, and Queens-based Salvatore Italiano is the architect of record. According to Brownstoner, excavation work has failed to resume since the DOB issued a stop work order earlier this spring. Completion was originally expected by the end of this year.

15-Story Condo & Retail Project At 809 Broadway Lands Financing, Greenwich Village

IDM Capital, manager to the developer 809 Broadway Associates LLC, has received a $30 million construction loan for their 15-story, 10-unit condominium building at 809 Broadway, three blocks south of Union Square, in Greenwich Village. According to Commercial Observer, the project, an expansion of the existing five-story building, will measure 40,000 square feet, with a 5,000 square-foot retail portion spanning the ground and basement levels. ODA is designing, and completion is expected in 2017 or 2018.


39 Clarkson Street

Six-Story Building At 39 Clarkson Street Seeks Condo Conversion & Expansion, West Village

Property owner Jeff Alexander and developer Summit Equities are planning to convert the six-story manufacturing building at 39 Clarkson Street, in the West Village, into nine condominiums. According to DNAinfo, three more stories will be added up top, and the cellar will be excavated to accommodate four parking spaces. A variance from the city is required for the conversion.
