In a surprising and exclusive reveal, YIMBY has the scoop for new renderings offering a first look at LeFrak’s waterfront development at 700 Washington Boulevard, in Jersey City. While the developer has released little information about the project, updated illustrations appear to match preliminary renderings made public in 2017, following approvals from the State of New Jersey.
The City Council of East Orange, New Jersey has given Blackstone 360 the green light to construct a new residential development at 260 South Harrison Street. Known as “Allure 260,” the building will top-off at 18 stories and comprise 325,000 square feet, with 201 units situated within.
Earlier this week, ground was broken for a new mixed-use development by joint venture partners Ironstate Development Company and Brookfield in Downtown Montclair, New Jersey. The project includes a mix of residential units, retail, offices, art space, public parking, and a pedestrian plaza. It is expected to create a vibrant arts and entertainment district near the adjacent Wellmont Theater, on Bloomfield Avenue. Consisting of two buildings on either side of Seymour Street facing the theater and a 12,000 square foot plaza, the development will span 2.5 acres in all.
Ground has broken at 39 New York Avenue, in Jersey City, for a new multi-family residential property. Developer The NRP Group has partnered with Hoboken Brownstone Company to bring 131 units with a mix of studio, one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms to market by 2020. 39 New York Avenue will be The NRP Group’s first project in Jersey City.
The Halo, at 289-301 Washington Street, could eventually be one of the tallest and most influential developments completed in downtown Newark, New Jersey. The proposed structure would replace an existing private parking garage.
