The exterior of 30 East 31st Street in NoMad is getting closer to completion. Located between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue, the 39-story, 479-foot-tall residential property is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and is being developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real EstateReuveni Real Estate is marketing the 42 units, which will be spread across more than 70,000 square feet and average 1,700 square feet apiece. Prices range from $1.65 million to upward of $12 million.

One of the more interesting proposals includes a new commercial building designed by Morris Adjmi Architects at 1162 Broadway in the Madison Square North Historic District. Permits have been filed for a 24-story mixed-use building at 10 West 55th Street in Midtown, Manhattan. Located between 5th and 6th Avenues, the through lot is close to the 5th Avenue-53 Street subway station, serviced by the E and M trains, and 57th Street station, serviced by the F train. Leonard Wilf of Garden Homes under the 18 West 55th Street, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications. The family behind Garden Homes and Skyline Developers purchased the abutting 9 West 54th Street and 10 West 55th Street lots, a combined 22,500 square feet, for $75 million last year.

3 Saint Mark’s Place Readies for Construction in the East Village

YIMBY went to check out 3 St. Mark’s Place in the East Village, where an eight-story mixed-use office building is set to rise. Approved by the New York City’s Landmarks Preservation Commission in the summer of 2019, the nearly 54,000-square-foot project is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Real Estate Equities Corporation. In addition to construction of the new structure at the intersection of St. Mark’s Place and Third Avenue, plans also call for exterior alterations to an adjacent historic landmark at 4 Saint Mark’s Place, known as the Hamilton Holly House.
