Ceruzzi Properties and SMI have partnered with Champalimaud Design to deliver a suite of amenity spaces within The Centrale, one of the latest condominium towers to debut in Manhattan’s East Side. Located at 138 East 50th Street, the 71-story building is designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli and SLCE and contains 124 condominiums that entered the market in May 2019.

Turkevi Center’s Glass Curtain Wall Continues to Rise at 821 First Avenue in Midtown East

Façade work on the Turkevi Center at 821 First Avenue in the Midtown East neighborhood of Turtle Bay is taking shape. Located at the intersection of East 46th Street and First Avenue, the topped-out reinforced concrete skyscraper rises 563 feet and will eventually serve as the consulate of the Republic of Turkey. Perkins Eastman is the designer of the 35-story mixed-use development.

United Arab Emirates Consulate’s Façade Takes Shape at 315 East 46th Street in Midtown East

The curtain wall of 315 East 46th Street is quickly taking shape in the Midtown East neighborhood of Turtle Bay. The nine-story reinforced concrete structure topped out earlier this year and will be the home of the consulate of the United Arab Emirates. Plaza Construction is building the 145-foot tall structure, which is designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Fisher Brothers.

Hilton Grand Vacation Hotel’s Geometric Façade Begins Installation at 12 East 48th Street in Midtown East

Façade work is underway at 12 East 48th Street on what will become a 161-room Hilton Grand Vacation Hotel. Located in Midtown East between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue, the reinforced concrete superstructure has already topped out and the curtain wall on the northern elevation is beginning to rise above the ground floor. Designed by Handel Architects, the bright metallic frames that surround the building’s windows will form a subtly oscillating geometric pattern. Hidrock Realty is the developer of the project.
