Renderings Revealed of Sutton Tower at 430 East 58th Street in Manhattan’s Sutton Place

New renderings have been revealed for Sutton Tower, a 67-story residential skyscraper nearing completion at 430 East 58th Street in Sutton Place. Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen and Stephen B. Jacobs Group and developed by Gamma Real Estate and JVP Management, the 848-foot-tall structure will yield 125 condominiums with an expansive amenity package. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales and marketing for the Midtown East property, which is alternately addressed as 3 Sutton Place and is located between Sutton Place South and First Avenue.

After two-and-a-half decades, the MTA’s East Side Access Project to connect the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) and Grand Central Terminals will finally come to fruition. The 700,000-square-foot station and crosstown connection will debut as Grand Central Madison.

Permits have been filed to expand a four-story structure into a six-story residential building at 213 East 48th Street in Midtown East, Manhattan. Located between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, the lot is a short walk to the Grand Central subway station, serviced by MetroNorth lines and the 4, 5, and 6 trains, as well as the Lexington Avenue/53rd Street station, serviced by the E and M trains. Aidi Xu under the Bamboo Garden LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

This week Tishman Speyer and Irvine Company revealed the next phase of renovations and capital improvements at the historic MetLife Building, with new food and beverage options set to debut in 2023. Located at 200 Park Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan, the building’s new dining options will include the iconic Capital Grille, organic and fair-trade café Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee, Black Seed Bagels, as well as a pop-up run by Talea Beer Co., a woman-owned brewery based in Brooklyn.

New renderings from Architecture Plus Information reveal lush amenity spaces and exterior enhancements at 780 Third Avenue, a 50-story office tower in Midtown East, Manhattan. Nuveen Real Estate, the current owner of the building, has invested roughly $40 million to create what it calls a “green oasis” for new and existing tenants.

New York City Council Reveals Next Phase of Park Avenue Malls Redesign in Midtown East, Manhattan

An 11-block stretch of Park Avenue in Midtown East may soon be transformed into a corridor of experiential galleries and venue spaces. According to New York City Council member Keith Powers, transformation of the Park Avenue Malls, a series of enclosed green spaces and traffic medians between 46th and 57th Streets along the avenue, is set to proceed to the next phase of project planning. This includes the retention of a landscape architect to create a master plan for project.
