Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by Sam Chang of McSam Hotel Group, the 320,000-square-foot structure will yield 1,048 hotel rooms, up from the previous reported count of 974, making it the ninth-largest hotel in New York City. McSam Hotel Group purchased the site from Rockefeller Group in early 2019 for $140 million, and received a $250 million construction loan before work broke ground in 2020. Omnibuild is in charge of constructing the hotel.

Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect for Sam Chang of the McSam Hotel Group, the 173,000-square-foot tower will yield 531 guest rooms across both a TownePlace Suites and Springhill Suites. Omnibuild is in charge of construction at the site, which is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.

Demolition could begin soon at 777 Eighth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, where a 27-story hotel has been proposed. From the prolific architect-developer duo of Gene Kaufman Architect and McSam Hotel Group, as well as additional owner TSGL 8th Avenue LLC, the building will rise from a 5,000-square-foot plot on the west side of the block between West 47th and 48th Streets, not far from Times Square.

Designed by Gene Kaufman Architects and developed by McSam Hotel Group, the project will yield 70,000 square feet and 200 guest rooms. The property is located between Seventh and Eighth Avenues, a short walk from the large stretch of pedestrian plazas and retail stores that line the crossroads of the world.
