Progress on the NoMad Ritz Carlton Hotel is soon going to reach its pinnacle. Located at 1185 Broadway at the northern intersection of West 28th Street and Broadway, the superstructure will culminate 580 feet above Midtown, yielding 150,000 square feet and 250 guest rooms. The 40-story skyscraper is designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by MarriottRitz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties. The interiors are being designed by Yabu Pushelberg.

Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel Debuts at 112 West 25th Street

Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel is now officially open and arrives as the brand’s premiere hotel in the neighborhood. At 430 feet tall, it is also one of the tallest structures ever constructed in Chelsea. The property is located at 112 West 25th Street and replaced the long-running Antiques Garage indoor flea market, considered one of the go-to destinations for antique shoppers. The hotel’s interiors, courtesy of architects Stonehill Taylor, pay homage to the iconic market and Chelsea’s eclectic history.

Construction is approaching the final floors of the NoMad Ritz Carlton Hotel. Located at 1185 Broadway at the northern intersection of West 28th Street, the reinforced concrete structure will soon top out at 580 feet tall, yielding 150,000 square feet and 250 guest rooms. The 40-story skyscraper is designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by MarriottRitz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties. The interiors are being designed by Yabu Pushelberg.

Work Continues on Gene Kaufman’s 140 West 28th Street Hotel Tower in Chelsea

Construction is progressing quickly on the 46-story, dual-brand Marriott Hotel at 140 West 28th Street in Chelsea. Installation of the windows on the northern and southern elevations of the topped-out structure is almost entirely completed, and work should begin soon on the metallic cladding that will cover the remainder of the curtain wall. The 470-foot-tall tower is designed by Gene Kaufman Architect for the McSam Hotel Group and will contain 173,000 square feet of newly built space. Omnibuild is in charge of the construction, and its banner is displayed over the building’s future entrance along West 28th Street.
