Construction is nearing the halfway mark at 533 Mercer Street, aka 289 Jordan, in Jersey City. The superstructure has been steadily rising and will eventually top out as one of the tallest buildings to the west of the main downtown district. The 16-story structure is designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects and developed by Mercer Jordan LLC, an affiliate of New York-based company Sequoia Development GroupGRID Real Estate, and Dresdner Robin. Construction at 533 Mercer Street, aka 289 Jordan, has risen above street level in the McGinley Square neighborhood of Jersey City. Located at the intersection of Mercer Street and Jordan Street, the 16-story mixed-use residential property will contain a total of 300 apartments. These will include 56 affordable housing units, 138 studios, 90 one-bedroom homes, 33 two-bedrooms, and six three-bedroom homes. The project is being designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects and developed by Mercer Jordan LLC, an affiliate of New York-based company Sequoia Development Group, GRID Real Estate and Dresdner Robin.

Hoboken-based architect Marchetto Higgins Stieve recently revealed new renderings for 184 Morgan Street, aka 331 Marin Boulevard, in Jersey City. Construction should soon begin for the 41-story residential building, located at the intersection of Marin Boulevard and Morgan Street. The structure will yield 482 residential units and contain 121 parking spaces, a 125-seat theater, and 14,000 square feet of amenities. The Albanese Group is the developer of the property.
