Permits have been filed for an eleven-story mixed-use building at 350 East 18th Street in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan. While it is technically in Gramercy, the site is about seven blocks away from the famed private park, and is situated across the street from Stuyvesant Town. CIM Group will be responsible for the development.
The progress across Billionaire’s Row has been significant in recent months. Today, YIMBY has an update on Midtown’s new terracotta masterpiece, for which sales are starting, and the latest photographs show that construction has officially reached supertall heights. JDS Development and Property Markets Group are behind the project.
Sitting directly across the street to the east of 108 Chambers Street, another new residential project is changing the landscape of Tribeca. Located between Warren Street and Chambers, the 12-story 30 Warren Street has already-topped out, and is currently blanketed in a web of scaffolding and black construction netting. The building is being designed by Post-Office Architects (POA), while HTO Architects serves as the executive architect. Cape Advisors is developing, the same group behind 75 West Broadway just down the block to the west.
Permits have been filed for a residential building at 422 West 49th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. The site is located in the heart of the neighborhood, equally two and a half avenues from Times Square and the Hudson River. Mortar ARCH + DEV will be responsible for the development and design.
Leasing is now underway at Twenty Broad Street, a 29-story rental development designed by CetraRuddy Architecture. With full completion imminent, the apartments join an expanding list of new or converted residential buildings in the city’s evolving Financial District.
