180 East 88th Street

Views Revealed for 180 East 88th Street, the Upper East Side’s Future Tallest Building Above 72nd Street

Over the summer, Tribeca-based DDG broke ground on a 32-story tower at 180 East 88th Street, which will one day by the tallest building above 72nd Street, standing 521 feet to its pinnacle. Now, YIMBY has the first look at what the view from the upper reaches of the tower will entail. The building’s 48 condominiums will feature two-, three- and four-bedroom configurations, and a penthouse duplex will be located on the top two floors. Commercial space will also span 52,000 square feet in the base. HTO Architect is the architect of record, while DDG is designing in-house, and sales are expected to launch this fall.


627 Greenwich Street

12-Story, 29-Unit Mixed-Use Conversion Planned At 627 Greenwich Street Factory, West Village

Last year, Brack Capital Real Estate acquired the 12-story former factory building at 627 Greenwich Street, in the West Village, for $105 million, and now the developer is converting the building into 29 condominiums. The latest plans, filed this past summer, have the building measuring 117,594 square feet, which includes 9,257 square feet of retail space on the ground floor for three commercial units. The 29 condos will average 3,735 square feet apiece, and Issac & Stern Architects are designing.



336 East 112th Street

Seven-Story, 27-Unit Residential Building Filed At 336 East 112th Street, East Harlem

Flatiron District-based Sinha Development has filed applications for a seven-story, 27-unit residential building at 336 East 112th Street, in East Harlem, four blocks from the 110th Street stop on the 6 train. The building will measure a total 21,658 square feet, which means units will average 802 square feet apiece. Tribeca-based TRA Studio Architecture is the architect of record, and the site’s former single-story building was demolished earlier this year.
