215 Pearl Street Nearly Finished in the Financial District

Construction of 215 Pearl Street has largely gone unnoticed but has made significant progress. Since our last update in July of 2016, the building has topped out, façade installation is all but complete, and construction of the five-story reflective lobby is underway. The 39-story structure will be adding 320 hotel rooms to the Financial District neighborhood thanks to the developers, the Lam Group.

Brookfield has officially celebrated the topping out of the 67-story One Manhattan West, aka OMW, the largest of six structures in their six million square foot Manhattan West development in Midtown West. The project has successfully lured several large companies to lease, and plans to add a significant amount of public space to the city. Crane Rising For The Upper West Side’s Future Tallest Tower at 200 Amsterdam Avenue

Construction of what may temporarily become the tallest skyscraper on the Upper West Side is poised to go vertical. As of yesterday, the building’s crane has arrived, and has been successfully installed for the soon-to-be 51-story 200 Amsterdam Avenue. Work has already reached the ground floor, with the foundation likely near completion. Concrete pouring for the first floor slab remains forthcoming. Virgin Hotel Gets Glassy at 1225 Broadway, Nearly Two-Thirds Of The Way to Topping-Out

Construction on the Virgin Hotel at 1225 Broadway has reached yet another milestone. Since we last checked in May, the building has more than doubled in height, and is nearly two-thirds of the way to topping out 38 floors above street level. The project is being developed by the Lam Group and is part of a larger trend of new hotel towers in the NoMad area near the Empire State Building.
