Eight-Story, 78-Unit Residential Building Tops Out At 2100 Bedford Avenue, Flatbush

In the final days of 2014, YIMBY reported on applications for an eight-story, 78-unit residential building at 2100 Bedford Avenue, in northern Flatbush, located within five blocks from stops on the Q, 2, and 5 trains. In early 2015, demolition was underway on three 2.5-story wood-framed houses, and by the summer the properties were cleared. Construction began sometime after, and within the last few weeks, the structure has topped out, as seen in photos by Tectonic. The 86,622 square-foot balconied structure will have 60,364 square feet of residential space, which means rental units will average 774 square feet apiece.
