Permits for 335 West 35th Street were filed as far back as 2013, and just now we’re finally getting a first look at what’s to come from the conversion. The Chen family, most prominent for the T.F. Chen Cultural Center, is planning to develop a twelve-story mixed-use project by refurbishing an existing Midtown office building. The site is just a few blocks away from Madison Square Garden and its myriad of transit and dining options. This will be developed under the company name New Tent LLC.

Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 165 Lexington Avenue in Kips Bay, Manhattan. The site is four blocks away from the 33rd Street subway station, serviced by the 6 trains. Lexington Partners, a private equities firm with $38 billion in total assets, will be responsible for the development.
New permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 629 Faile Street in Hunts Point, The Bronx. The site is eight blocks away from the Hunts Point Avenue subway station, serviced by the 6 trains. Three blocks further is the Simpson Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Alex Gilkarov of Platinum Management Group LLC is listed as responsible for the development.
308 North 7th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is officially topped-out, with sales expected to commence this summer. Marketed as “N7,” the condominium building is expected to deliver 45 units, ranging from one to three bedrooms apiece.
A five-story residential building is nearing completion at 225 14th Street, in Park Slope, Brooklyn, by the border of Gowanus. The site is five blocks away from the D, N, R, and W trains. Harel Edrey of EDG Development is responsible for the development, and the same firm is also working on the design.
