Construction is rising on 606 West 30th Street, a 42-story residential skyscraper in Hudson Yards. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties, the 545-foot-tall structure will yield 312,350 square feet, with 192,780 square feet of residential space and 14,240 square feet of commercial space. Highbury Concrete is pouring the concrete and Hudson 37 LLC is listed as the general contractor for the project, which is also known as Tower B in a two-skyscraper development alongside FXCollaborative and Douglaston Development‘s topped-out 601 West 29th Street. The property is located between Eleventh Avenue and West Street, near the border with West Chelsea.

Construction is complete on 102 Charlton Street, a 21-story residential building in Hudson Square. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties, the 210-foot-tall structure yields 59,323 square feet with 61 residential units in a mix of studios,  one- and two-bedroom layouts, and full-floor spreads. The property is located between Greenwich and Hudson Streets and is surrounded by a wave of new construction including headquarters for Disney and Google.

131-141 East 47th Street’s Superstructure Climbs Above Midtown East, Manhattan

Construction has reached the halfway point on 131-141 East 47th Street, a 34-story residential skyscraper in Midtown East. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Silverback Development, the 500-foot-tall structure will yield 200 apartments ranging from studios to two-bedroom units as well as 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space with frontage along West 47th Street. Silverback was brought onto the project by Hopson Development Holdings, which purchased the rectangular parcel for $115 million in December 2019 from the original developers, New Empire Real Estate. Structure Tech New York and Cauldwell Wingate are in charge of building the project, which is located between Lexington and Third Avenues.

Excavation Underway for The Alloy Block at 100 Flatbush Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn

At number 16 on our countdown is The Alloy Block, a multi-tower complex designed and developed by Alloy Development in Downtown Brooklyn. Located along the border with Boerum Hill, the project consists of the 840-foot-tall 80 Flatbush Avenue and the 44-story, 482-foot-tall 100 Flatbush Avenue. Hunter Roberts Construction Group is in charge of building the foundations, and Urban Atelier Group will take over the superstructure work, which will rise from the trapezoidal plot bound by Flatbush Avenue to the northeast, State Street to the southwest, and 3rd Avenue to the northwest.
