Construction nears completion at 22-44 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens, a two-tower residential development on the plot of the famous 5Pointz graffiti warehouse. The 1.21-million-square-foot complex is designed by HTO Architects and developed by G&M Realty. Mojo Stumer Associates is designing the buildings’ interiors, which will feature artistic homages to the site’s past.
Exterior work is nearing completion at 180 East 88th Street, the tallest structure on the Upper East Side above 72nd Street. DDG is the designer and principal developer of the 31-story residential skyscraper, for which HTO Architects is serving as the architect of record and Global Holdings Management is also developing. Petersen Tegl, a Denmark-based firm, is in charge of putting together the thin Kolumba masonry bricks in the gray-colored façade.
The brick and architecturally finished concrete façade of 180 East 88th Street is getting very close to completion. The 31-story reinforced concrete skyscraper holds the title of the tallest structure on the Upper East Side above 72nd Street. The residential project is designed by DDG, with HTO Architects serving as the architect of record. Petersen Tegl, a Denmark-based firm, is in charge of the Kolumba masonry brick façade. The narrow property will yield 100,242 square feet of residential space, averaging 2,088 square feet per unit. There will also be 10,255 square feet of residential amenities and 1,093 square feet of communal facilities on the lower part of the superstructure.
The dark-colored exterior of 30 Warren Street has been hidden beneath scaffolding and black netting for quite some time. Now, a large portion of the facade can be seen from the street and from above. The future 12-story condominium is being designed by Post-Office Architects (POA), while HTO Architects serves as the executive architect. Cape Advisors is the developer of the Tribeca property, which sits along Church Street, between Warren Street and Chambers Streets. Sales and marketing are being led by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
