Gary Tarnoff of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP has filed applications to build a new long term care facility, called The Hebrew Home of Riverdale, to be located at 5701-5961 Palisade Avenue in The Bronx, likely on behalf of the institution. The filings to construct a new center to the north of the existing facility show it would contain 137 nonprofit residential units for the elderly, 105 assisted living units, 607 skilled nursing beds, and 386 independent senior living units. The project will also come with 509 new parking spaces, with its entire scope clocking in at 1.4 million square feet.

Foxy Management will develop the building, with an affiliation to the Riverdale-based Hebrew Home for the Aged. This will be their second project working together, after the identically natured and 90% complete 1880 Boston Road.
