Elmo Realty recently closed on a $26 million loan to finance the construction of an eight-story mixed-use building at 2535 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, Manhattan. When complete, the property will comprise nearly 24,000 square feet of 53 rental apartments and commercial space.
An ongoing construction project at Morningside Park in South Harlem aims to improve the infrastructure and pedestrian experience at one of the area’s most historic parks. Located between 110th and 123rd Streets, the park comprises around 30 acres of public space including open greens, lush landscaping, softball fields, playgrounds, a runners’ track, a pond, and open paved plazas for community events.
Manhattan’s East Harlem neighborhood is the latest recipient of a $10 million Downtown Revitalization Investment (DRI) grant.
