LPC Reviews New Proposal to Expand a Private Residence at 267 West 11th Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan

Suk Design Group will again appear before the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission to present revised proposals to renovate and expand the rear portion of a private residence in the Greenwich Village Historic District. Located at 267 West 11th Street, the unique property includes a four-story structure with an additional single-story, enclosed structure in the rear courtyard that dates back to the 1930’s.

Morris Adjmi Architects Reveal New Mixed-Use Development Proposed for 38 West 8th Street, in Greenwich Village

Morris Adjmi Architects will soon appear before the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission to propose a new mixed-use development in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. If approved, the existing one-story commercial building at 38 West 8th Street would be replaced by a six-story residential property with ground-floor retail and a small community facility.

LPC’s Stranglehold on Greenwich Village Yields LPC-Bound Proposal for Mega-Mansion Conversion at 36-38 West 10th Street

A new proposal to merge and renovate 36 and 38 West 10th Street is set to be reviewed by the LPC today. Located along West 10th street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue in Greenwich Village, the project is composed of two five-story brownstones, each with six units apiece, which will be turned into a single mansion. The revisions are being carried out by John Ike of Ike Kligerman Barkley Architects. The developer of the project is Tom Van Loben Sels.
