At the intersection of the Financial District and the beginnings of South Street Seaport lies Maiden Lane, which is rapidly transforming into a continuation of the high-rise corridor to the south. On one particular corner, at the intersection with Front Street, two buildings are now rising. Thanks to YIMBY Forumer Rich Brome we have photos of the new hotel coming to 151 Maiden Lane, which is already several floors above street level, as well as the residential tower rising at One Seaport, climbing next door at a slightly slower pace.

It was a little over a year ago that the Naftali Group’s mixed-use building at 210 West 77th Street, on the Upper West Side, was about to top out. Now, construction of the building is almost at the finish line.
It was back in September of 2014 that YIMBY brought you news of permits being filed by John Catsimatidis’s Red Apple Group for a 32-story mixed-use tower at 86 Fleet Place, between Willoughby Street and Myrtle Avenue, in Downtown Brooklyn. Now, thanks to photos sent to us by our friend Tectonic, we can see that the building is at least one floor above the ground.
It’s been months since we checked in on Heatherwood Communities’ high-rise residential project at 42-12 28th Street in Long Island City. As of July, it had reached 10 stories. Now, thanks to somewhat dramatic photos taken by our friend Tectonic, we can see that the 58-story building must be close to its final height.
A sprawling seven-story residential building may replace a cluster of warehouses and office buildings at 22 Eckford Street, next to McCarren Park in Greenpoint.
