Construction on Quay Tower is wrapping up as the 30-story residential building nears completion. Located across from Pier 6 along the Brooklyn Heights waterfront, it sits next to the southern tip of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by RAL Companies and Oliver’s Realty Group, the 315-foot tall skyscraper will bring 126 units to market with the help of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.
This month, BLDG Management officially began leasing at The Summit, a new rental property the developer has coined “a diamond in the sky.” Located at 222 East 44th Street, the 43-story building arrives as the first ground-up, residential building in Manhattan from BLDG.
Rising above NoMad between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue, 30 East 31st Street is a new residential tower designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, and stands 40 stories to its rooftop. The crossed beams at the top of the building are a visual signature of the design, and will soon be enclosed in an exterior envelope of dark-colored waterproofing and glass. The project is being developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate.
111 West 57th Street is nearing the upper section of its topmost residential and mechanical floors. With a height to width ratio of 24:1, the SHoP Architects-designed tower will soon become the most slender building in the world. It is the 2nd-tallest skyscraper under construction in New York City, and will soon climb to an 1,438-foot-high pinnacle between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. The supertall is being developed by JDS Development and Property Markets Group, and Douglas Elliman is in charge of sales and marketing for the 46 condominiums within.
125 Greenwich Street shot up with great speed in 2018, and is the 16th-tallest skyscraper under construction in New York City. Now, it has only a few floors remaining before its 912-foot pinnacle is reached above the Financial District. The 88-story tower is being designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by Bizzi & Partners and Vector Group, while the marketing of the 273 residential units is being handled by Douglas Elliman. Interiors are being designed by March & White.
