Installation of the warm-colored travertine façade is continuing on The XI, a twisting pair of 36- and 26-story residential structures at 76 Eleventh Avenue in Chelsea. Designed by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels of Bjarke Ingels Group and developed by HFZ Capital Group, the 908,250-square-foot complex stands along the Hudson River waterfront just west of the High Line. The project will yield 236 condominiums and a 137-room Six Senses Hotel Resort Spa, the first location in the United States. Omnibuild is in charge of the construction and Douglas Elliman is handling sales and marketing.
Construction has topped out on The Ladera, a residential building at 300 West 122nd Street in Harlem. Developed by Happy Living Development and designed by Isaac & Stern Architects with interiors by Paris Forino, the 13-story structure is located between West 121st Street and West 122nd Street at the crossroads of Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Saint Nicholas Avenue. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling sales of the 155 units.
The exterior of 30 East 31st Street in NoMad is getting closer to completion. Located between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue, the 39-story, 479-foot-tall residential property is designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and is being developed by Ekstein Development and Pinnacle Real Estate. Reuveni Real Estate is marketing the 42 units, which will be spread across more than 70,000 square feet and average 1,700 square feet apiece. Prices range from $1.65 million to upward of $12 million.
Developers have launched leasing at The Dime, a 177-unit rental building in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Perched above the historic Dime Savings Bank at 275 South 5th Street, the property includes retail space, office suites, and an array of amenities. The building is alternately addressed as 209 Havemeyer Street.
Façade work is progressing on Seaport Residences, a 670-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 161 Maiden Lane in the Financial District. Formally addressed as One Seaport, the topped-out 60-story building is designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group LLC and will yield 80 units. Groves & Co is serving as the interior designer for the 200,000-square-foot structure, and sales will be handled by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.
