Façade installation is progressing on 181 Mercer Street, NYU‘s 750,000-square-foot expansion in Greenwich Village. Designed by Davis Brody Bond and KieranTimberlake, the 23-story mixed-use project sits along Houston Street between Mercer and Bleecker Streets, directly to the east of I. M. Pei’s three-tower University Village complex.
Construction progresses on the Irish Arts Center, a five-story building at 726 Eleventh Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Davis Brody Bond and Ciaran O’Conner, the structure is located between West 51st and West 52nd Streets, just around the corner from its original three-story location at 553 West 51st Street.
Construction is continuing on the Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center in the Financial District. Designed by REX with Davis Brody Bond Architects as the executive architect and developed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the 138-foot-tall structure is one of the final components of the 16-acre World Trade Center complex.
Curtain wall installation is progressing quickly on Zero Irving, a 21-story mixed-use building at 124 East 14th Street in Union Square. Designed by Davis Brody Bond and developed by RAL Development, the structure will yield 240,000 square feet of affordable and market-rate office space for technology firms and amenities for occupants. Financial partners Junius Real Estate Partners and Suffolk Construction are also helping to develop the property.
