Bordering the Harlem River, the lot, also known as 65 East 149th Street, is located on the corner of Exterior Street and East 149th Street. Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 378 East 165th Street in Fleetwood-Concourse Village, The Bronx. The site is three blocks from the Melrose train station, serviced by Metro North. Alex Gilkarov is listed as behind the applications.
The Bronx boom continues apace, and today, YIMBY has the reveal for building two of the Concourse Village West affordable housing project, designed by Aufgang Architects, which will rise at 702 Grand Concourse, in Concourse Village.
Permits have been filed for a new four-story school within walking distance of Yankee Stadium. The lot, at 316 East 165th Street, is currently used for parking. The project is being developed by Bronx-based CG Educational Holding Corporation, and the school will be twelve blocks away from the 167th street stop on the B and D subway lines.
Applications have been filed with the Department of Buildings for a new eight-story building at 947 College Avenue, in the Bronx’s Fleetwood-Concourse Village neighborhood. Sion Hourizadeh of Sion Associates is listed as the architect, and the structure will measure 11,393 square feet in total, to be divided between 17 units. That translates into an average size of about 670 square feet, which is highly indicative of rentals. Gurwinder Singh of Kulwant Properties is listed as the developer.
