Construction of a new 46-story, dual-brand Marriott hotel at 140 West 28th Street in Manhattan is now topped out. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architects for the McSam Hotel Group, the structure stands 470 feet above Chelsea with exterior cladding that resembles a single, continuous metal panel.
Permits have been filed for a ten-story mixed-use building at 393 8th Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan. Located between 29th Street and 30th Street, the interior lot is close to Pennsylvania Station and the 34th Street subway station, serviced by the A, C, and E trains. Daniel Aller of Aller Enterprises is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Located on the northwest corner of 28th Street and Seventh avenue, the lot is steps away from the 28th Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train. It is also directly opposite the Fashion Institute of Technology. Michael Kirchmann and Alan Rudikoff of GDSNY is developing the boutique office tower.
