Work Continues for 45 Broad Street, the Financial District’s First Impending Residential Supertall

Located to the south of the New York Stock Exchange on a narrow rectangular strip of land along Broad Street, the Financial District’s first residential supertall will soon rise at 45 Broad Street. The tower will eventually soar 1,115 feet above the crowded streets of Lower Manhattan, and should make a very dramatic impact on the skyline in the coming years. Clad with bronze-colored aluminum panels and an intricate mix of sleek vertical and curved lines, it is the 5th-tallest skyscraper currently under construction in New York City. Work Fully Wraps for 412 West 15th Street in Chelsea

Standing across the street from Chelsea Market is a new 270-foot, 18-story office building spanning 130,000 square feet, designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by Rockpoint Group and Atlas Capital. 412 West 15th Street stands between Ninth and Tenth Avenue above the Meatpacking District in Chelsea, with a tall glass facade and dark metal panels featuring textured geometric panels. The project is also connected to two landmarked buildings along West 14th Street that have a combined square footage of around 85,000 square feet.

Roseland-Replacing ARO at 242 West 53rd Street Nears Full Completion in Midtown West

With its bold white brick-pattern facade soaring over the former site of the Roseland Ballroom, ARO, aka 242 West 53rd Street, is currently the 27th tallest skyscraper under construction in New York City, and perhaps the closest on the list to the finish line. It is nearing completion, with occupancy set to begin anytime now. This new 738-foot, 62-story residential skyscraper is bringing 426 apartment units to Midtown West. Its 450,000 square feet is being designed by CetraRuddy Architecture, while Algin Management is the developer. Triumph Property Group is handling the leasing of the units.

Macklowe Properties‘ newest residential tower at 200 East 59th Street stands 35 stories above Midtown East. Its entirety is now nearing completion as work begins to wrap on the lower floors. While advertising may promise elephants, giraffes, and other live animals for prospective residents of the 67 condominiums, reality provides a bold white facade and neatly stacked, and slightly protruding wraparound balconies. The building was designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and rises to a total height of 490 feet from the retail base.

Covered from top to bottom in a sleek facade of curved glass corners, tall windows, and white paneling, ARO is a 738-foot, 62-story residential tower that has risen from the former site of the Roseland Ballroom in Midtown, Manhattan. Located at 242 West 53rd Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, the new structure contains nearly 450,000 square feet designed by CetraRuddy Architecture. Algin Management is the developer, and leasing is being led by Triumph Property Group, and has now commenced for the 426 available apartments.
