Construction Complete at 554 Fourth Avenue, Park Slope, Brooklyn

Construction is complete, and sales have officially begun for a 36-unit building at 554 Fourth Avenue, in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The site is seven blocks away from the 9th Street Subway Station, serviced by the D, F, G, N, R, and W trains. Also nearby is the Gowanus Canal. Residents will start to occupy the 11-story structure by mid-2018. Brookland Capital is responsible for development, and Douglas Elliman’s Tavivian Team will lead sales and marketing.

625 Halsey Street

Two Four-Story, 10-Unit Residential Buildings Coming To 625 Halsey Street, Bedford-Stuyvesant

Brooklyn-based Brookland Capital has filed applications for two four-story, 10-unit residential buildings at 621A-625 Halsey Street, in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The buildings will each measure 10,597 square feet and the residential units should average 748 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. One of the units on the fourth floor will also feature space on an upper penthouse level. Forest Hills-based ARC Architecture + Design Studio is the architect of record. The 75-foot-wide, 7,500-square-foot assemblage consists of two vacant lot and a three-story townhouse at 629 Halsey Street.

Boaz Gilad Plans Another in Bushwick: Permits Filed for 99 Grove Street

Prolific condo builder Boaz Gilad started out by developing new projects in Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, and Clinton Hill, where the market for buying condos and co-ops is pretty well-established. But the pursuit of cheaper land prices and bigger lots has pushed the Bed-Stuy based developer north and east into Bushwick. His firm, Brookland Capital, is currently working on eight buildings in the north Brooklyn neighborhood. Now they’ve filed plans for a ninth, at 99 Grove Street.
