Leasing has launched for the Eagle + West towers, developed by Brookfield Properties and Park Tower Group and designed by OMA in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The 745-unit waterfront complex is part of the Greenpoint Landing master plan development. Greenpoint Landing, when complete, will include 5,500 apartments in a mix of market-rate and permanently affordable units, a waterfront park designed by James Corner Field Operations, and numerous local retail opportunities. Beyer Blinder Belle Architects served as the executive architect for Eagle + West towers with amenity interior design by Marmol Radziner.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed by WatermanClark, Brookfield Properties, Higgins Quasebarth & Partners, Integrated Conservation Resources, and Integrated Conservation Contracting, the $100 million project involves an overhaul of the public plaza, renovations to the main lobby, improvements to the ventilation and sustainability systems, and the addition of new amenity spaces. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor for the property, which is located along Park Avenue between East 53rd and East 54th Streets.

Available on NYC Housing Connect are 224 units for residents at 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $51,840 to $206,875.

Macquarie Group, a global financial services company, is the latest to join an expanding roster of new commercial tenants at 660 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. As the tower’s anchoring tenant, the firm will occupy 221,764 square feet, spread across six floors, in addition to having a private lobby entrance on both the first and second floors, 30,000 square feet of private outdoor space, and top of building signage.
