Seven-Story Mosque Planned At 1051 Sherman Avenue, Concourse

Amara Kenneh, imam of Masjid Nur Al-Islam, has filed applications to build a seven-story, seven-dwelling-unit mosque at the vacant lot of 1051 Sherman Avenue, in the Concourse, three blocks in from the Grand Concourse and six blocks from the 167th Street stop on the B/D trains. The structure will measure 24,506 square feet in total, and Nazhat Aboobaker’s Invision Engineers is the applicant of record.

Nearly 19,000 Square-Foot Clubhouse Filed At Ferry Point Park, Throggs Neck

The NYC Parks Dept. has filed applications for the clubhouse in Ferry Point Park, at 300 Hutchinson River Parkway, located in Throggs Neck. The Trump Organization is developing the single-story structure, which will measure 18,830 square feet, and will include multiple bar/grills, dining rooms and a pro shop. Renderings of the Hart Howerton-designed structure were revealed a few weeks ago, and completion is scheduled for the first half of 2016.


101 Lincoln Avenue

Two 25-Story Mixed-Use Towers Planned At 101 Lincoln and 2401 Third Avenues, Port Morris

Earlier this year, Chetrit Group and Somerset Partners purchased two Bronx waterfront development sites at 2401 3rd Avenue and 101 Lincoln Avenue, in Port Morris, surrounding both sides of the Third Avenue Bridge, and now Curbed has the details for their project. The developers plan two 25-story towers totaling 1,600 residential units, across 1.3 million square feet, and retail space will span the first two floors. The site is currently occupied by warehouses.

Clubhouse At Ferry Point Park Revealed, Throggs Neck

Renderings have been revealed for an 18,455 square-foot clubhouse at Ferry Point Park, in Throggs Neck, the East Bronx. The single-story structure is being developed by The Trump Organization, and Hart Howerton is designing. According to DNAinfo, the Design Commission must approve the plans, but completion is expected in the first half of 2016.
