Bergen Gardens LLC has filed applications for a five-story, nine-unit residential building at the lots spanning 653-655 Bergen Street, in Prospect Heights. The building will measure 12,900 square feet, and Issac & Stern Architects is designing. A single-story warehouse structure set back from the street must first be demolished.

Condo Conversion Planned For 184 Kent Avenue, Eight-Story Rental Building In Williamsburg

Earlier in May, Crain’s Business broke news about a planned condo conversion for 184 Kent Avenue, an eight-story, 338-unit luxury rental building in northern Williamsburg. Now Curbed has the details: dubbed Austin Nichols House, significant renovations are in the works, which include the combination of former rental units. Kushner Companies, LIVWRK, and Rockpoint Group are the developers and acquired the building for $275 million in early 2015.


AC Hotel

Five-Story Hotel Planned Near PATH Station In Harrison, New Jersey

Advance Realty is planning to develop a five-story, 150-key AC Hotel (by Marriott) at the southeast corner of Frank E. Rodgers Boulevard South and Guyon Drive, near the PATH station in Harrison, New Jersey. The lot comes vacant, and the building will span 85,000 square feet, including 4,300 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, according to NJ Biz. A completion date has not yet been disclosed.


101 Murray Street

Chinese Insurance Company Funds 62-Story Luxury Residential Building At 111 Murray Street, Tribeca

The developers of a 62-story, 139-unit mixed-use tower at 101-111 Murray Street, in Tribeca, have reportedly found financing, valued in the hundreds of millions, from a Chinese insurance company. YIMBY confirmed in March that 111 Murray Street will rise 857 feet tall, but first revealed the design in June of 2014. Witkoff Group and Fisher Brothers are developing; Kohn Pedersen Fox is designing. The site’s predecessor has now been demolished, and completion is expected in 2017.
