Isaac Itah has filed applications for a four-story, two-unit townhouse on the 17-foot-wide lot at 813 Greene Avenue, in central Bedford-Stuyvesant, four blocks from the Kosciuszko Street stop on the J train. The building will total 3,479 square feet, and each unit will spread across two floors, averaging a spacious 1,740 square feet. Bahram Tehrani’s Jamaica-based BTE Design Services is the applicant of record, and the lot appears vacant.

5,000-Foot Long Pedestrian Bridge Would Link New Jersey To Downtown Manhattan

Kevin Shane and New Jersey-based Jeff Jordan Architects have conceptualized a 200-foot tall, 5,000-foot long pedestrian bridge linking Jersey City to Battery Park City, in Downtown Manhattan. Dubbed Liberty Bridge, the link would provide commuters with an alternative to public transit, according to Jersey Digs. The bridge would include both pedestrian and bike lanes, as well as retail spaces, works of art, park space, and solar panels.

Development Site At 677-685 Lexington Avenue Hits The Market, Midtown East

Meringoff Properties and the Riese Organization are placing the low-rise commercial properties spanning 677-685 Lexington Avenue on the market, according to The Wall Street Journal. The assemblage, in Midtown East at East 56th Street, boasts roughly 115,000 square feet, and is primed for a residential or hotel development. Eastern Consolidated is marketing the properties, which include a two-story corner building and five-story commercial structure, whose leases expire shortly.

10 Hudson Yards Celebrates Last Concrete Pour, 52-Story Office Building In Hudson Yards

In late July, YIMBY brought you a construction update on 10 Hudson Yards, the first of Related and Oxford Properties’ planned Hudson Yards towers. Today, the team will celebrate the topping-out of the 52-story, 1.7-million square-foot building, which will stand 905 feet to its pinnacle. Coach, Inc., L’Oréal USA, SAP, and Vayner Media have all leased space, bringing the tower to 85% occupancy. The skyscraper will officially open to tenants in early 2016.


41-07 Crescent Street

Nine-Story, 47-Unit Mixed-Use Building Complete At 41-07 Crescent Street, Long Island City

This past summer, construction was wrapping up on Ranger Properties’ nine-story, 48-unit mixed-use building at 41-07 Crescent Street, in Long Island City, and now The Court Square Blog brings news the building is complete. As previously reported, the building contains 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and Fogarty Finger is the architect. Scaffolding has been removed, meaning opening is likely imminent.
