The firm’s Principal, Eugene Mekhtiyev, told us that “the design is inspired by older masonry architecture prevalent throughout Brooklyn… The project is meant to fit within the context of the borough while providing a unique design.”
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 389 Sumpter Street, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The project will rise seven blocks away from the Broadway Junction Subway Station, serviced by the A, C, L, J, M, and Z lines. The East New York train station is also nearby, serviced by the Long Island Rail Road. 4SE Corp will be responsible for the development.

The surrounding area is almost exclusively residential, with a few small commercial locations dotting the avenues nearby. The site is eight blocks away from the Utica Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the A and C trains. The project was put before the Brooklyn Community Board Landmarks Meeting earlier this month, and Romel Salam will be responsible for development.
