Permits have been filed by an anonymous LLC for a nine-story residential building at 514 Herkimer Street, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The site is right next to the large, eight-story Interfaith Medical Center complex. The Kingston-Throop Avenue Subway Station is four blocks away, serviced by the A and C trains.
Renderings have been revealed for a five-story residential building proposed for 514 Halsey Street, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The surrounding area is almost exclusively residential, with a few small commercial locations dotting the avenues nearby. The site is eight blocks away from the Utica Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the A and C trains. The project was put before the Brooklyn Community Board Landmarks Meeting earlier this month, and Romel Salam will be responsible for development.
Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 325 Gates Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The site is seven blocks away from the Bedford-Nostrand Avenue station serviced by the G train, and eight blocks away from the Franklin Avenue station, serviced by the A and C trains. It is nearby the Pratt Institute’s Brooklyn Campus, which could mean it will be marketed towards college students or recent graduates. Renaissance Realty Group is developing.
A development site in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood saw permits filed back in 2015 for a vertical and horizontal addition, at 523 Willoughby Avenue. Since then, the neighboring building has also met the wrecking ball, and the latest new building applications show a “major alteration” will result in a completely new structure, which YIMBY can reveal today.
Building applications have been filed for a vacant site at 459 Quincy Street, next to Throop Avenue, in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant. Robert Bianchini’s ARC Architecture + Design Studio is the architect of record, and the new structure will have a total area of 10,859 square feet. Within that, there will be 7,408 square feet of residential space, to be divided amongst ten units, likely rentals. There will be four floors as well as a penthouse level, and four duplex units will be included within the mix, including one that begins on the fourth floor and then takes the entirety of the penthouse. Yosef Elishaiev of Rutland 491 LLC is listed as the developer.
