Located at the intersection of 47th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway, the corner lot is three blocks from the Fort Hamilton Parkway subway station, serviced by the F train. Sam Chen of U.S. Developments Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Permits have been filed for a new three-story building at the site of the former Angel Guardian Home in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. The Sisters of Mercy sold the development in December of 2017 for an undisclosed sum of money, Brownstoner reports. Brooklyn-based Basic Groups Corp. is listed as responsible for the design.
Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed use building at 383 Union Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The site is two blocks away from the Metropolitan Avenue subway station, serviced by the G and L trains. Ravi Patel is responsible for the development, after purchasing the lot for $2.25 million from the Bestreich Realty Group.
An anonymous Lower Manhattan-based LLC has filed applications for two two-story, two-family houses at 9806 and 9808 Avenue N, located on the corner of East 98th Street in Canarsie. The buildings will measure 3,780 square feet and 3,710 square feet respectively. Across both, the residential units should average 1,072 square feet apiece. There will also be a total of four off-street parking spaces. Sugnam Chang’s Brooklyn-based Basic Groups Corporation is the architect of record. The 5,000-square-foot plot is occupied by a single-story house. Demolition permits were filed in late 2015.
Renovations on a three-story, 8,856-square-foot mixed-use building are wrapping up at 61 Canal Street, located on the corner of Allen Street in Chinatown. Retail space will measure 2,143 square feet on the ground floor, followed by 6,713 square feet of community facility space on the second and third floors. Cheng Chio Buddhist Temple, also the property owner, will occupy the community space, Bowery Boogie reported. Rectories will be located on the second floor, worship space on the third, and the cellar will be utilized as a kitchen and storage space. A pagoda was also added up top.
