Elad Ben-Kimon, doing business as a Brooklyn-based LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, two-family residential building at 168 Monroe Street, in western Bedford-Stuyvesant, located seven blocks north of the Nostrand Avenue stop on the A/C trains. The new building will measure 3,900 square feet in total. One unit would be located on the ground-floor/basement level, and the second unit would span the second through fourth floors in a townhouse-style fashion. Arnold Montag’s Great Neck-based AM/PM Design & Consulting is the architect of record. Demolition permits were filed back in January to raze the 20-foot-wide lot’s existing two-and-a-half-story house.

Brooklyn-based S R Builders has filed applications for a three-story, six-unit residential building at 209 McKinley Avenue, in eastern Cypress Hills, located five blocks from the Grant Avenue stop on the A train. The building will measure 6,080 square feet, which means units will average a relatively spacious 1,013 square feet. Arnold Montag’s Great Neck-based AM/PM Design is the architect of record, and the site’s former two-story wood-frame building was demolished back in 2008.
This past summer, DNAinfo reported that the dilapidated two-story church at 215 West 122nd Street in Harlem was going to be demolished, and now applications have been filed for the site’s replacement. Yaniv Zohar has filed for a six-story, six-unit residential building measuring a total 8,881 square feet. The full-floor units will likely be condos, averaging 1,480 square feet apiece. Great Neck-based developer Kamali Organization has filed applications for 10 single-family homes spanning the vacant lots at 2403-2429 East 69th Street, in Bergen Beach, a block in from the East Mill Basin inlet. The residential development will total 15,560 square feet in total, and each two-story home will measure a spacious 1,556 square feet.
