Updated Permits Filed for 70-40 45th Avenue, Elmhurst, Queens

Permits were first filed for a mixed-use building by King’s USA Group at 70-40 45^th Avenue in Elmhurst, Queens back in 2016. Now, new applications show a major update. The site is located along the major residential Queens Boulevard thoroughfare. Eight blocks away is the Roosevelt Avenue subway station, serviced by the 7, E, F, M, and R trains.

Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst has become the center of the neighborhood’s construction boom, as developers try to cater to the growing immigrant communities in eastern Queens. And one developer has filed plans for a 10-story residential building with retail and community facilities at 70-40 45th Avenue, just off the major 12-lane artery.
