A new three-building residential complex has broken ground at 1133 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, New York. Designed by Cube 3 Architecture and developed in collaboration by The NRP Group and RPW Group, the complex is situated on a 70-acre site that previously served as IBM’s world headquarters.
Construction has topped out at 1325 Jerome Avenue, a new affordable housing project in the Mount Eden section of The Bronx. The development is the latest endeavor from The Doe Fund and was completed in collaboration by the GF55 design studio.
A large consortium of non-profit and private developers has revealed extensive proposals to construct two new affordable housing buildings on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. If the proposals and required zoning amendments are approved, the new structures would break ground at 151-165 Broome Street within an existing mixed-use complex referred to as Seward Park Extension.
Final renderings of 31-27 Crescent Street in Astoria, Queens offer the first completed illustrations of the new residential building. Designed by Costa Architecture and Engineering, the development will contain 30 condominium units, a fitness center, and a patio on the roof level.
Community Preservation Partners and L+M Development Partners have revealed a $123 million overhaul of a senior community development know as Norman Towers. Located in East Orange at 500 North Walnut Street, the building contains 406 units of affordable housing and was originally completed in 1980.
