In an exclusive reveal, YIMBY is pleased to share new renderings of the first tower to debut at Calyer Place, a forthcoming residential complex in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The tower at 65 Private Drive will stand 40 stories above the waterfront near the intersection of West and Oak Streets. Additional properties within the complex will include another 40-story tower, a 32-story building, and 22-story building.
New renderings have been revealed for 164-168 West 136th Street, an eight-story residential building in Central Harlem. Designed by Tectus Design and developed by Haussmann Development and Coltown Properties, the structure will yield 21,885 square feet and 27 rental units, as well as amenities including a residential lounge, a rear yard, and a fitness center. The development site is an assemblage of lots located between Adam Clayton Powell Jr and Malcolm X Boulevards.
The Durst Organization has released the first renderings of a new public outdoor space at the base of Sven, the developer’s latest residential skyscraper at 29-37 41st Avenue in Long Island City. The half-acre space will debut as Sven Park and offers a new playground, dog runs, workout and parkour facilities, ping-pong tables, swinging benches, and stationary seating.
Acacia Network and Phipps Houses recently celebrated the grand opening of Santaella Gardens, a 249-unit affordable housing property in the Soundview section of The Bronx. Located at 1230 Metcalf Avenue, available homes are reserved for individuals and households earning between 30 percent and 90 percent Area Median Income (AMI), as well as 25 units for the formerly homeless.
Construction is now underway on 282-286 Grand Street, a seven-story residential building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The will yield a mix of rental apartments, amenity spaces, and commercial space.
