NewYork-Presbyterian is the latest tenant to ink a lease at the Spiral at 66 Hudson Boulevard in Hudson Yards. The hospital group’s Och Spine outpatient facility will occupy a 75,000-square-foot suite on the supertall’s second floor.
Construction is complete on The Waterton, a new rental property at 1631 Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus, New Jersey. From developers Woodmont Properties, Canoe Brook Development, and PIRHL, the residential community features 116 apartments and an expansive suite of amenities just three miles west of the Lincoln Tunnel.
St. John’s University recently celebrated the commencement of construction on a new 70,000-square-foot facility that will serve as the permanent home of its Nursing School and wide-ranging health sciences programs. Located within the university’s primary campus in Hillcrest, Queens, the building will debut as the Health Sciences Center and will enrich the campus with new classrooms, laboratories, collaborative spaces, administrative offices, and simulation facilities for traditional clinical experiences and acute patient scenarios.
Developers and elected officials recently gathered to celebrate the completion of Nevins Street Apartments, a 129-unit affordable housing property in Downtown Brooklyn. Located at 50 Nevins Street, the property now comprises 6,000 square feet of commercial space and over 100,000 square feet of residential area.
This week Bristal Assisted Living opened its first assisted living facility for seniors in Manhattan. Located at 1622 York Avenue on the Upper East Side, the property is aptly named Bristal at York Avenue and comprises 132 apartments for seniors in need of independent or assisted living, highly specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia, and a collection of condo-quality amenities and recreational spaces.
