Four-Story, Four-Unit Residential Project Filed For 373 Classon Avenue, Bed-Stuy

Property owner Ray Sapiro has filed applications for a four-story, four-unit residential building at 373 Classon Avenue, in western Bedford-Stuyvesant (on the border with Clinton Hill). The building will measure 4,000 square feet, and each unit will have its own floor. Oscar Fuertes’ OMF Architecture is designing, and an existing single-story structure must first be removed.

Extell Acquires CityPoint Site At 138 Willoughby Street, Could Be Brooklyn’s Tallest

Last week, Extell Development acquired the last development site of the CityPoint project at 138 Willoughby Street, in Downtown Brooklyn, in a $115.5 million deal. Extell is technically leasing the 21,500 square-foot site, and the developer is planning to construct a 665,000 square-foot mixed-use tower. A four-story, 65,000 square-foot retail base is part of the deal, and Washington Square Partners and Acadia Realty Trust will own that portion.


200 Greenwich Street

21st Century Fox, News Corp. Close to Signing Leases at Two World Trade Center

News Corp. and 21st Century Fox have signed a letter of intent to lease a combined 1.3 million square feet at Larry Silverstein’s planned 2 World Trade Center, located at 200 Greenwich Street, in the Financial District, according to the New York Post. A deal has yet to be finalized, but the move would jump-start construction of the 2.8 million square-foot, 80-plus-story tower, which is being redesigned by Bjarke Ingels Group.


101 Murray Street

62-Story, 157-Unit Luxury Tower To Stand 822 Feet Tall At 111 Murray Street, Tribeca

Witkoff Group’s and Fisher Brothers’ Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed luxury tower, planned for Tribeca at 101-111 Murray Street, has been amended to have 157 residential units, up from 139 stated in the original application. Despite an erroneous report, YIMBY has news that the 62-story tower will actually stand 822 feet above the street, merely 35 feet below the outdated 857-foot proposal. The 372,000 square-foot building will include a nearly 2,100 square-foot retail portion on the ground floor, and completion is expected in 2017.


154 East 78th Street

Five-Story Mansion To Replace Two Townhouses At 154 East 78th Street, Upper East Side

Yoseif Partners has filed applications for a five-story, single-family residence spanning 152-154 East 78th Street, on the Upper East Side. Previous plans called for the combination of two existing four-story townhouses, which would hold three residential units, but new applications would produce a 13,050 square-foot building. Demolition applications have yet to be filed for the townhouses, and Sawyer|Berson is designing.
