Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 3217 Westchester Avenue in Pelham Bay, The Bronx. Located between Wilkinson Avenue and Continental Avenue, the lot is three blocks from the Pelham Bay Park subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Paul Lumaj of Dedaj Construction Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 66-foot-tall development will yield 53,391 square feet, with 37,489 square feet designated for residential space, 9,627 square feet for community facility space, and 6,275 square feet for commercial space.   1. I guess property owners just drive around The Bronx and spot a Badaly building and say “Yes yes yes… that atrocious pile of bricks…thats what i want for my lot!”

    So many of these new buildings are replacing one-story commercial structures—nearly all under an elevated subway.
