With construction nearly complete at Brooklyn Crossing, The Brodsky Organization prepares to launch leasing at the 858-unit residential tower. The property is located at 18 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights and stands 51 stories above ground.

Designed by Perkins Eastman, the 532-foot-tall structure comprises approximately 740,00 square feet. The façade incorporates a dark glass curtain wall with vertical metal fins and a gray brick podium.

Lemay + Escobar has designed the interior spaces including the main lobby, the apartments, the building’s outdoor terrace, and the amenity spaces. Those amenities include a fitness center, a screening room, and the “Sky Lounge,” which boasts an outdoor pool with 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline and as far south as Rockaway Beach.

As previously reported by YIMBY, over 250 apartments will be reserved for affordable housing. Leasing will officially launch in January 2022.

  1. another out of context guglass box built directly adjacent to the arena only made possible by the use of eminent domain used to enrich a private developer like the Brodsky Organization .Where’s the green open space for all these people coming into the neighborhood of Prospect heights? Who in the world would want to live atop an arena when you can afford to live anywhere. The traffic is horrendous
Those so called “affordable housing units” which should be called income based rentals will be at 160% of AMI and wont be affordable to anyone but upper middle class and upper class people.

  2. Is there some sort of photographer strike? Where are the photos and why post an update without them? This is like the 3rd article recently that talks of an update, but only features renderings.
